The concept for Titletown Bike Tour came from local people, some of whom are cancer survivors and supporters and all of whom are bike enthusiasts. We are trying to promote healthy lifestyles and raise money to help reduce cancer diagnosis and defeat this disease that affects so many people and families in our community. Since 2001, the Titletown Bike Tour has raised over $450,000 for cancer funding. All proceeds for the 2010 event will benefit the Breast Cancer Family Foundation.
The Breast Cancer Family Foundation is a local organization providing education on cancer awareness and prevention by connecting cancer patients and families in Northeast Wisconsin to information, services and resources that impact their quality of life.
Our vision is to better educate the community, enrich and save lives, and assist individuals and families in their personal journeys with cancer.
The Breast Cancer Family Foundation is dedicated to reducing the number of individuals with cancer by educating women and their families on the important issue of cancer risk reduction strategies. Since April of 2000, we have presented educational programs to over 45,000 middle and high school students in Northeast Wisconsin. In addition, we reach thousands of adult women each year through presentations and wellness sessions at local businesses, civic and religious groups, and numerous other community organizations.
